About the Ogden Association of the Blind
The Ogden Association of the Blind (OAB) helps people learn about vision loss and how it affects daily life. We offer classes on why sight loss happens, how it impacts emotions, and what resources are available for those who are blind or visually impaired. Our classes also teach helpful skills like cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
We also plan fun activities throughout the year! Members can enjoy outdoor adventures, plays, and other exciting events. Every year, we bring families together by hosting a special Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.
Who Do We Serve?
We welcome anyone who is blind or visually impaired and their family or friends in Ogden, Utah, and nearby areas.
Our group offers social and recreational activities for members and their families. We also organize hands-on trips to explore the community. Sometimes, we invite special speakers to share information about vision loss and helpful topics.
